Congrats!

Happy Monday morning!  My second 1/2 marathon is officially in the books!  I'm so thankful for my neighbor, Katie....we have been running partners off and on for the last three years.  When one of us slows down on staying up with running the other one always seems to pick the other up.  So, although we didn't get as much training time in as we did for our first half marathon, we were ready to go yesterday morning.  Reminding ourselves that no matter our finish time, we were very blessed to be able to run the half marathon.  Our first picture above is pre-race....6:30 am start time!
And here we are post race!  We both did more walking than we'd like...miles 6 through 8 are almost straight up hill!  I finished in 2 hours 28 minutes (10 minutes slower than my first)...but I'll definitely take it!  It was super sunny and humid...thank goodness for lots of water stops and for a restful Sunday post race.

I also had a chance to play along with the CASE Study challenge this week.  I absolutely love Aga's style and wanted to play. For the background pattern, I used the letter press images that Erin sent to me, added a simple sentiment and some resin flowers.  Love the touch of color against the black and white.  Check out Aga's gorgeous inspiration below.
